Steve started square dancing in 1973 while in high
school,began
calling tips back then. He introduced Mary to square dancing,while
they were
dating in 1977 and in 1980, they were married. They live in
Natick, Ma. After raising
three children and sitting on the couch too long,it was time to
get back to
dancing. At a square dance one night, Mary said “Why don’t you try
calling
again”? After attending Ken’s N.E. C. S. and with the guidance of
Charlie Trapp, the
rest is history. He is currently V.P. of Old Colony Callers Assn.,
(Metro South
Boston); class caller for two clubs; Fairs & Squares of
Framingham Ma. and
the Hobomock Hoedowners of Rockland Ma. Steve travels throughout
N.E calling Basic
to A-1. Don’t miss out on one of his dances if he is in your area
